Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on the night shift in Saint Louis, Missouri. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and a 12-hour night schedule (19:00–07:30).

The role requires an active MO or compact RN license, at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience, and ongoing certifications. Travel compensation includes a tax-free stipend and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• All certifications must be active and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg units in a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Care for adult medical-surgical patient populations
• Telemetry monitoring may be required as part of the assignment
• 13-week contract assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility needs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Staff living within 50 miles of the facility will have local pay adjustments and are restricted to three consecutive 13-week local contracts before a one-year separation or transfer outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Full compliance files must be cleared prior to the Friday before the assignment start date
• Employment history will be reviewed for recency and gaps
