Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Des Moines, Iowa. The role requires flexibility to float between locations within the region while delivering high-quality bedside care.

You will work 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, for 13 weeks, with a start date of 11/09/2026. Requires Iowa license/compact, BLS, and EPIC experience. This travel position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in Med Surg or Med Surg Telemetry.
• Completion of at least one travel contract within the last 18 months.
• Proficiency in caring for a wide range of medical-surgical patients.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Solid telemetry and cardiac care background preferred.
• Recent experience in charge nursing or as a preceptor required.
• Active Iowa license or valid compact/multistate license.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a medical-surgical environment.
• Monitor and manage patient care, including telemetry and heparin drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry

We are seeking motivated and adaptable Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience in Med Surg and Telemetry to join our dedicated team. This role requires versatility and the willingness to float between multiple locations within the region.

Additional Information

• Standard patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse.
• Ability to float to all relevant medical-surgical units is necessary.
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
