Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Greensboro, NC. The travel RN will provide specialized care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Start date is 10/19/2026 with a 13‑week duration and 36 hours per week on a night shift. This role requires active RN licensure, a minimum of one year in Med Surg/Telemetry, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions to ensure a smooth patient handoff.
