Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Laveen, AZ. The role covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, night shifts. You’ll deliver high-quality patient-centered care in med-surg and telemetry units while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 1 year Med Surg/Tele RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. NIHSS/ACLS certifications are preferred. Join us for competitive pay and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• Preferred: NIHSS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and families and ensure understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assess patients and document changes; report concerns to the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist physicians during procedures.
• Monitor patients on telemetry and coordinate with the care team to manage acuity.
• Ensure infection control practices, PPE use, and safety protocols are followed.
• Support discharge planning and patient education for home care.
