Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13-week assignment in Globe, Arizona. You will provide high-quality nursing care on med-surg/tele units, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support patient needs.

The role requires 1 year of Med Surg/Tele RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. This travel position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
Active RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians.
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Document patient information including vital signs, medications, and care outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
Ensure infection control practices including hand hygiene and PPE use.
Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with patients and families.
