Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse in Farmington, NM. The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressures, oxygenation, and ECG data, and relay information to the care team for timely decisions.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS certification, and are able to perform with 12-hour day shifts on travel assignments offering 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Telemetry RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient movement.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor cardiac telemetry equipment.
• Interpret and record ECG and vitals data from monitors.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data and patient status.
