Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Brunswick, Maine. The RN will cover Med Surg and Telemetry units, work 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, and join a team serving adult patients on surgical and medical floors.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS, and 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience. Travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
