Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Bakersfield, CA. The Travel RN will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing comprehensive med/surg and telemetry care with a strong patient-safety focus.

Requirements include 1 year Med Surg/Tele RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred NIHSS/ACLS certifications and other licenses may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in Med Surg and telemetry units.
• Assess and monitor patients, document changes, and report to care team.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
