Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Hickory, North Carolina. This 13-week travel contract requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts for Med Surg / Telemetry patients. Immediate start and acute care experience preferred (1–2 years).

The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, SpO2, and ECG data, with bedside care, equipment management, and escalation as needed. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and patient monitors.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and escalate to medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring results.
