Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry/Medical‑Surgical assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. The contract runs 13 weeks with night shifts, 7pm-7:30am, at Dupont Hospital.

You will join a 25-bed unit with a 12-bed overflow, caring for diverse diagnoses and maintaining excellent patient communication. Requirements include IN RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, IV starts, NG placements, Foley catheter care, and bladder irrigation.

Qualifications

• RN IN Licensure
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Able to start IV's, place NG tubes, insert foley catheters, care for continuous bladder irrigation patients.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced unit with good communication.
• Care for multiple diagnosis types in Telemetry/Medical Surgical.
• Patient ratio 1:6.

Auto Offer Position

RTO Blackout Dates or Required holidays: Nov. 21st - Nov. 29th, 2026 & Dec. 20th - Jan. 3rd, 2027

MAX RTO: 1 week , with the option to add a week at the end of the contract

GH: 72 bi-weekly (96 Bi-Weekly not an option)

Floating Required: Yes

Block Scheduling: Yes, an option

Requirements:

• RN IN Licensure
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS

Scope of role: The ability to work in a fast-paced unit and possess good communication skills. We care for multiple different types of diagnosis .

Scrubs: Navy Blue
