Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. The assignment features 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour days.

You will work in Med Surg/Telemetry with a focus on adult patients, under the supervision of client facilities. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS certification, with 18 months of recent Med-Surg Acute Care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements determined by client facility.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care.
