Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Marshfield, WI. This role requires 12-hour nights and supports a 36-hour workweek, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits with a dedicated clinical team.

You will deliver patient-centered care in Med Surg and telemetry units, assess conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatments.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for post-procedure patients.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans.
• Manage multiple patients with prioritization.
• Ensure infection control practices, PPE use.
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences.
• Coordinate discharge planning for smooth home transition.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
