Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced RN for a Med/Surg overflow unit in Wheeling, WV. The role requires a WV or compact RN license, BLS and NIHSS certifications, and 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts in a rotating schedule.

The unit accommodates 30 beds with tele monitor support and a floating policy based on census. Travel nurses welcome, with a focus on patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Active WV or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience.
• Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to titrate heparin drips based on aPTT.
• Must reside within 50 miles of facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult Med/Surg overflow patients.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes.
• Float as needed based on census.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.
• Collaborate with charge RN and unit staff.
