Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night-shift Med-Surg/Telemetry assignment in Iowa. The role requires active Iowa or compact licensure after submission, Epic EMR experience, and a minimum of 12 months in Med-Surg/Telemetry with 3 months travel in the last 18 months.

Candidates must reside >50 miles from the facility and be willing to float to additional units and locations. The contract is travel-only, with 13 weeks expected length and 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts

Qualifications

• No first-time travelers are accepted; must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months.
• Proficiency caring for all patient types and a variety of med-surg patients is required.
• Experience with heparin is required.
• Recent charge or precept experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.

Responsibilities

• Float across Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed.
• Night shift with 12-hour rotations.
• Contract length of 13 weeks; 4 shifts per week.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Submit certifications and health documents to expedite onboarding.
