American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Mequon, Wisconsin, with telemetry reading responsibilities and prior travel nursing experience.

The role requires an active Wisconsin RN license, BLS, NIHSS certification, Epic EMR experience, and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience. You may float within 40 miles and must complete verification processes before start.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required.
• Telemetry background required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit setting.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation required.
• Telemetry monitoring responsibilities (must be able to read tele).
• Uses Epic EMR.
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring responsibilities.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule.
• Travelers should discuss assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the end date.
