Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 27-week travel assignment in Springfield, IL. This role offers travel benefits, 36 hours per week, and nights on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, an active RN license in good standing, and current BLS certification. NIHSS/ACLS are preferred. Join a dedicated clinical team delivering high-quality patient care across a Med Surg unit.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist during treatments.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
