Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. The position covers 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with a 13-week contract in a hospital with 52 private beds.

Preferred candidates have BLS and NIHSS; ACLS is a plus. Assignment includes various Med-Surg patient types, Allscripts EMR, and care for ortho, neuro, COPD, pneumonia, and infections. Local radius 50 miles; license required.

Qualifications

• BLS is required.
• NIHSS is required.
• ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shift: 12hr Nights, weekends as scheduled
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Ratio: 1:6–7
• Beds: 52 private rooms
• Required: BLS, NIHSS
• EMR: Allscripts
• Patients: Ortho, neuro, general post-op, COPD, pneumonia, infections
• Preferred: Peritoneal dialysis experience; ACLS
• Drips: Heparin, occasional PCA/Ativan
• Respiratory: BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow
• Float: Other MedSurg/MedSurg-Oncology units
• Weekend: Every other weekend
• Scrubs: Navy
• Local: 50-mile radius; driver's license required with submission
• BSN: Not required
