Advantis Medical Staffing has a travel Med Surg RN assignment at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. This 13-week contract runs Nights (3x12) with weekly pay of $1,855. As the Med Surg RN on this assignment, you’ll manage a varied medical‑surgical caseload, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and families.

You will collaborate with the care team on admissions, discharges, and safe transitions, ensuring high-quality patient care on this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
• Active Missouri RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical‑surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team.
