Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel Nurse RN in Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Newburgh, IN. The role covers a 32-bed unit with potential to 37 beds, night shifts, and 36 hours per week.

Candidates must have a compact license, BLS and NIHSS, at least two years of Med-Surg experience including trauma level II, and EPIC charting proficiency. Travel assignments with competitive pay and housing options are offered.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Indiana or compact license.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum two years of medical-surgical nursing experience including trauma level II.
• Recent EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to medical-surgical patients on night shift.
• Manage wound care, IV therapy and post-surgical care.
• Monitor patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Document care using EPIC in a timely manner.
