Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Med Surg travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Carthage, TN. Start date: 09/28/2026. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights. Travel role with immediate need and acute-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities include bedside assessments, medication administration, dressings and IVs, and patient-family education. Licensing, BLS, and 1.5+ years of RN experience required; compensation details discussed with the agency.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the United States
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of Med-Surg patients
• Administer and document medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Perform post-op and pre-op assessments and care
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning
