TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years recent acute care experience for MedSurg RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op cases.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education as prescribed.
