Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN proficient in L&D for a night shift in Kansas. A KS or compact RN license, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required, with at least 1 year of experience.

Travel assignments offer housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, day-1 benefits, and non-taxed per diem. Some shifts may involve OB coverage and occasional float to other units.

Qualifications

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• ACLS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• One reference required.
• Copy of DL and SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical unit with occasional L&D coverage
• Primarily manages med/surg patients but may be pulled to manage OB patients through delivery and postpartum care
• Med/surg ratio is 1:4 and L&D ratio is 1:1
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00
• Every other weekend required
• No scheduled on-call hours, except when low census requires on-call availability for potential OB patients
• Travelers may float to different units
• Manages med/surg patients while remaining available to handle OB patients as they present
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Travel pairs accepted
