Blue Springs Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse for a night‑shift assignment in Cape Girardeau, MO. You will deliver comprehensive med-surg care, including assessments, planning, meds, wound care, EMR documentation, and family education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing—BSN required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (instructor status preferred).
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Instructor Status required.
• Emergency (CEN) or Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a Level I or Level 2 trauma center.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience required.
• Prior experience as a Trauma Program Coordinator highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ACS-verified Trauma Center verification requirements.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze trauma cases in real time and retrospectively to assess quality and guidelines.
• Identify performance-improvement opportunities and action plans for improvements.
• Coordinate and document Trauma PIPS activities, PI events and registry data.
• Prepare and present cases, trends, and quality findings for PI and trauma meetings.
• Educate clinical teams, EMS, and facilities on trauma PI principles and best practices.
• Collaborate on guideline development, research, verification preparation, and ongoing improvements.
