Job summary

TotalMed RN in Keene, NH is seeking a Med Surg travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment on nights. Start date 11/09/2026; 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. Requires 1–2 years acute care experience and BLS to qualify for this travel position.

As a MedSurg RN you will perform patient assessments, document findings, and provide education and support to patients' families. You should be prepared to manage meds, dressings, IVs, and assist with discharge planning in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years acute care experience required.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatment.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
