Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment in Alabama. The role requires 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

This 13-week assignment offers travel housing allowances, competitive pay, and benefits, with a focus on safe patient care in a busy acute care setting. Night shift hours are 7p-7a, with requirements including AHA certifications and Nursys verification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand.
• AHA certifications required (e.g. BLS, ACLS as applicable).
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical Combination unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• 13-week assignment length
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
