Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Med/Surg RN for a travel assignment in Enid, Oklahoma. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience in a busy Med/Surg unit, with nights on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Start date 10/13/2026 for 12 weeks, travel employment with ACLS/BLS required.

Responsibilities include bedside patient care, medication administration, dressings and IVs, charting, and discharge planning. Travel nurses will educate families and coordinate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• Med Surg RN with hospital experience and ability to handle varied patient loads.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients and general Med Surg care.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs as needed.
• Assist during examinations and procedures and help with discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-discharge care.
