Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN, Med Surg, for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, Missouri. The position requires MO or compact licensure, BLS, and at least one year of Med/Surg experience.

Extend your travel career on a 42-bed Med/Surg unit, with four 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00–07:30), 1:5–1:6 patient ratios, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. The weekly pay is $3,028 plus stipends.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required at consideration.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in Med/Surg.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 42-bed Med Surg unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shifts, four 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Patient ratios are 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6 at night.
• Every other weekend coverage is required.
• Requires floating to other units as needed.
• Expected to work 50% of holidays.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team within the unit.
• Must be able to float as required by the hospital.
