Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Mayfield, Kentucky. The role is a 13-week, full-time assignment with a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and a 36-hour workweek. KY or compact RN license and at least one year of Med/Surg experience are required.

Pay includes a tax-free stipend and a comprehensive benefits package; employment type is Travel. Start date is 12/22/2025. Lodging and travel reimbursements are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active KY or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience.
• AHA or equivalent certifications; RQI not accepted.
• Social Security number and date of birth required.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at Lifepoint within last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed full time elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Full-time contract position for 13 weeks.
• Care provided to adult med/surg patient population.
• Onboarding forms and checklists must be completed.
