Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Med Surg travel nurse for Henderson, Kentucky. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, featuring 12-hour night shifts. Start date is 10/26/2026. This travel RN role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS; NIH certifications may be required as well.

The RN will perform bedside care, administer medications, document findings, and educate patients and families while contributing to a fast-paced Med/Surg team in a travel staffing model.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med/Surg patients.
• Administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Document patient findings and educate patients and families.
