Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN for night shifts in Poplar Bluff, MO. The contract is 13 weeks, with a nightly schedule from 6:45p to 7:15a, and floating between two Med Surg units. Start ASAP and earn a competitive $50-52/hr rate with benefits.

BLS and 1+ year of Med Surg night experience required. Candidates must hold an active RN license with MS certification preferred, and be comfortable with rapid assessments, EHR documentation, and trauma-informed

Qualifications

• Active RN license with current Medical-Surgical nursing certification preferred.
• Night shift experience in medical-surgical units with rapid assessment skills.
• Proficient in accurate medication administration and documentation in EHR.
• Strong patient safety focus; knowledge of trauma-informed care and sterile technique.
• Ability to triage, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple admissions at night.
• Mentorship or preceptorship skills for junior staff development.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with accuracy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a trauma-informed, sterile environment.
• Accurately document nursing care and maintain electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and post-hospital needs.
• Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced night-shift setting.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meet performance targets.
• Assist in triage and initial assessment for new admissions during night hours.
• Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to professional development.
