American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Carmel, Indiana, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Start ASAP for a 13-week assignment, in a Med/Surg/Ortho mix, with required BLS and IN license.

The role involves floating between Med/Surg and Ortho units, patient load up to 1:5, plus per diem and benefit eligibility, and travel/licensure reimbursements. Priority local candidates may receive a reduced rate.

Formación

• Active IN or Compact RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a combined 16-bed Med/Surg and 16-bed Ortho unit in a hospital setting.
• Patients on both Med/Surg and Ortho units, with floating between the two units required.
• Max RN to patient ratio of 1:5.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Weekend rotation required every three weeks; holiday coverage is required.
• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and coordinate care among multiple disciplines.
