Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. You’ll provide high-quality patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, with a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per week. Start date is 10/05/2026, and travel nurses gain competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Med Surg RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. NIHSS/ACLS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive high-quality patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Explain procedures, administer medications, document care, and support discharge planning.
