Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Medical-Surgical RN to work in Peoria, Illinois. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and a tax-free stipend arrangement.

Qualifications include Illinois RN license in good standing, BLS, EKG certification, and ASN (BSN preferred). Perks include comprehensive benefits, housing, and dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment.

Formación

• Minimum three (3) years applicable experience.
• Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
• Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
• Multicultural sensitivity.
• Critical thinking skills using independent judgement in making decisions.

Responsabilidades

• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
• Promotes the use of evidence-based practice through the nursing process, protocols and procedures.
• Assesses patient's status through interview, observation and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes.
• Develops an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team.
• Uses appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes.
