Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN - Med/Surg for a 13-week assignment in Gadsden, AL. The role is a 36-hour week on a day shift (12-hour shifts), with 6:45 am to 7:15 pm hours. The position requires an active AL or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience.

US SSN is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted. Facility is away from local travel restrictions. Per diem and stipends may apply as part of the travel package.

Qualifications

• Active AL or Compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history ≥90 days in past 12 months
• Candidates must not have been employed as permanent staff at CHS facilities in past 2 years
• Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
• US Social Security Number is required for consideration; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Must provide valid Driver’s License and complete profile documentation

Responsibilities

• Work in a general Medical/Surgical unit on Floor 6 of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for diverse adult med/surg patient populations
• Time off requests (RTO) must be less than one week
• US Social Security Number is required for consideration; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Must provide valid Driver’s License and complete profile documentation
• No first-time travelers restrictions are specified
