HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing assignment in Flowood, Mississippi. This role is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour night shifts in a travel employment setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including med administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Educate patient/family appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
