MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. This Med-Surg RN will work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration, in a travel employment setting.

Start date is 10/05/2026. Requirements include an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Med-Surg acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program required.
• BLS Certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
