Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. You will work a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, on 12-hour night shifts as a Travel RN in Med/Surg.

The RN must hold an active license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS certification, with at least 18 months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience. A supportive agency and competitive benefits are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform treatments.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care among staff and physicians.
