Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Paramus, NJ. Start date 10/19/2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, travel employment type. You will deliver high-quality med-surg care and collaborate with a clinical team to support patient safety and outcomes.

The role requires 1 year Med Surg RN experience, active RN license, and BLS certification. NIHSS/ACLS certifications are preferred. Competitive pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes for the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for post-procedure patients.
• Document vital signs, meds, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Ensure infection control practices, PPE use, and safety protocols.
