Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Med-Surg travel RN for a travel assignment in Evansville, IN. The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg experience; the assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include completing physician orders, providing routine and post-surgical care, monitoring patient status, administering medications, and maintaining meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
