Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN in Med/Surg for a 8-week assignment in Dothan, Alabama. The role requires an active AL or compact RN license and at least one year of Med/Surg experience, with day shifts on a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule.

Remote options are not available; travelers must meet program requirements and will receive weekly payroll and benefits. The position offers a competitive weekly pay of $1,768 and tax-free stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active AL or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days
• No CHS facility permanent employment in last 2 years
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Medical/Surgical unit on Floor 1
• Medical/Surgical setting with typical Med/Surg caseload
• Day shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• 8-week assignment
• Returned travelers must have a 2-year gap since last CHS employment
• RTO must be less than 1 week
• No local travelers within 50-mile radius
• Care for a variety of adult Med/Surg patients
• Adhere to hospital policies and unit protocols
