Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Amarillo, Texas. The role involves inpatient care on the Medical-Surgical floor, with telemetry monitoring and Epic charting in a busy hospital setting.

You will work 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, with a requirement for BLS, 1 year Med-Surg experience, and an active RN license (state or compact). This position includes travel perks such as private housing or housing allowance, health insurance, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1 year inpatient Med/Surg experience required.
• Epic charting system knowledge required.
• Valid state or Compact RN license at submittal.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Med-Surg nursing care to adults and geriatric patients.
• Monitor telemetry and use Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed.
