Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is actively seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Saginaw, MI. You will deliver patient-centered care in med-surg and telemetry units while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatments.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care plans.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and needs.
• Ensure equipment and PPE are used properly.
