Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with a GA or compact license for a day shift hospital position in Georgia. At least 2 years of Med/Surg experience is required, with BLS and NIHSS certifications; ACLS and CPI are preferred. IV therapy, phlebotomy, and line care are needed, plus telemetry and rapid response familiarity.

Shift is 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend. Floating within the facility is required; patient ratio is 1:6, with Epic charting

Qualifications

• GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS/CPI preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and line care.
• Telemetry monitoring and rapid response familiarity are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medical-Surgical unit caring for general med-surg and related patient populations.
• Day shift schedule 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12 hour shifts.
• Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities.
• Floating within facility as needed within scope of practice.
• Patient ratio of 1:6; Epic charting system preferred.
• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg patients including dialysis-related care.
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment period; RTO limits apply.
