Job summary

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. This assignment focuses on Med/Surg care in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate will hold IL RN licensure, BLS, and be able to manage a diverse patient population on a 36-hour weekly schedule with 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), on-site.

Start date 09/28/2026, duration 15 weeks, EPIC charting, and a competitive weekly gross pay of $2,565.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN licensure or confirmation of application.
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to produce a negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Titrate Heparin drips as required.
• Coordinate with charge nurses and utilize crisis RN support as needed.
• Collaborate with PCTs and ensure patient ratios are maintained.
• Utilize unit resources for IV starts and blood draws.
