Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg (Adult)

Role Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care for both adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit.
• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care.
• Collaborate with a talented team of healthcare professionals to address the unique needs of a diverse patient population.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions while ensuring holistic care that meets patients' physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Accountable to the Unit Director, while working closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required.
• Preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
• Current RN licensure in Vermont or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
• ACLS certification is also required.

Work Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, with coverage for every other weekend and holiday shifts.
