Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts with an active LA or compact license.

Candidates should have 2 years of Med Surg RN experience, EPIC experience, and current ACLS/BLS. Floating to other units is required and patient types include MI, CHF, arrhythmias, and PVD. TotalMed RN offers weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Acute Tele
Active LA or compact license
2 years of experience, EPIC experience
ACLS, BLS (Must be on hand for submission)

Type of patients: MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow
Weekend Requirement:
3 weekends in a 6 week schedule
On Call Requirement:
No call
Floating Requirement / Locations:
Required to float when needed
Nurse / Patient Ratio:
5:1 but can be 6:1 on occasion
