Location: Wheeling, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2077.60 - 2181.48

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts: 0645-1915; 1845-0715. Schedules are made out for 6 weeks at a time. Staff is allowed to submit up to 6 requests off per 6-week schedule

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: - Certs BLS is required. NIHSS required. Some staff have ACLS - this would be a PLUS! - 50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE. LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for ortho post-ops, neuro post-ops, and general post-ops including gallbladders, mastectomies, and infections.
• Manage patients with medical conditions such as COPD, CP, pneumonia, and cellulitis.
• Assess and monitor patients on Bipap, Cpap, High Flow vents, and perform related duties.
• Collaborate with hospitalist or intensivist for patient management, including in-house 24/7 coverage.
• Follow hospital protocols for medication administration and patient safety.
