Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Travel RN (Med Surg) for a 13-week contract in Weirton, West Virginia. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license with BLS and can consider PCT or CNA backgrounds. You will provide bedside care and monitor telemetry as part of a busy inpatient team.

Qualifications

• BLS is required.
• RN license active and in good standing.
• PCT training or CNA background acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a hospital setting, including vital signs, telemetry, and heart monitor application.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, toileting, turning, and positioning of patients.
• Monitor and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow devices.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips and coordinate with telemetry staff.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and team to ensure patient safety.

• Read and interpret telemetry strips; work with telemetry monitor tech as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses and staff to ensure proper patient care and safety
