Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Nursing is seeking a Travel RN with Med Surg experience to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. This travel assignment features 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and an ASAP start.

You will deliver high-quality care, perform assessments, monitor vitals, administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Active RN license and current BLS are required; ACLS/NIHSS preferred for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact license).
• 1+ years of Med Surg experience.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Specialty Certifications (preferred): NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients with diverse medical-surgical conditions.
• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery goals.
