VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a hospital contract in Uniontown, PA. The role involves providing care to post-surgical and MedSurg patients with 12-hour shifts and a 13-week duration.

The RN must have a BLS certification; start ASAP; 36 hours per week; shifts 7:00 am–7:30 pm or 7:00 pm–7:30 am; travel background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to post-surgical, orthopedic, and MedSurg patients in a hospital setting.
• Manage care for patients with pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, hospice, end-of-life, and low-volume inpatient chemo.
• Assist with both 'clean' and 'dirty' COVID patients, following unit protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including RTs for vent management.
• Float to other MedSurg units as needed with floor-specific orientation and preceptor support.
